One of the original actors who played the iconic Michael Myers villain in the very first Halloween film has revealed a hidden detail in the movie’s legendary poster.

Back in 1978, Halloween was released in the week before the autumn holiday itself, with the world introduced to the terrifying world of Michael Myers, a mental hospital patient who escapes 15 years after murdering his teenage sister on one Halloween night.

Myers, known for his terrifying mask, sets his sights on teenage babysitter Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis in her first ever movie role; a role that would go on to define her career through the multiple sequels to the slasher film.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest horror films of all time, it brought slashers in to the mainstream and the iconic role of the ‘final girl’, the one survivor from a villain’s murderous rampage that lives to tell the story (and pave the way for profitable sequels and franchises).

Michael Myers was played by three actors in the film, primarily Nick Castle but also Tony Moran and Will Sandin, with the latter two playing an unmasked and child version of the killer, respectively.

And it is Moran who has recently brought attention to the film’s iconic poster and its hidden imagery.

“Do you see this hand? It’s something other than a hand,” Moran tells those getting their memorabilia signed at a recent film convention.

“Well, I’m not going to tell you, you’re going to have a look at it yourself, bro.”

After taking a closer look, Moran says: “If you see it, don’t say a word. Do not say a word.

“It’s something other than a hand, I promise you. When I show you you’re going to go ‘whaaaaat?’.”

With the crowd still unable to figure it out, Moran reveals all.

“It’s the profile of a face,” he tells them.

“There’s the eye, there’s the nose and there’s the mouth.”

After revealing it, the onlookers were left going making a universal ‘ahhhh…’ after finally clocking it.

“You’ll never not see that now, you’ll never see a hand ever again,” Moran said.

The moment was captured by TikTok user Julian Mongeon, who captioned the video with: “I can’t unsee it now.”

Reacting to the revelation, one TikTok user wrote: “I don’t see it not going to lie.”

A second said: “It’s a face, I don’t know how people never knew.”

And a third posted: “I see it now. It looks like a face screaming that is covered in a plastic bag; like something out of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Others said it was more a case of pareidolia, which is where our brains impose a likeness on to an image to try and form a greater connection or understanding.

This may well be the case given that Robert Gleason, the artist behind the iconic poster, admitted that he didn’t draw the face intentionally, with it something he later spotted himself in the piece. Which, if you ask us, just adds to the creepy lore surrounding the iconic film.

You know, The One with the Halloween Party?

Chandler comically struts in sporting a pink bunny costume which Monica, looking drop dead gorgeous as Catwoman, had purchased for him last-minute.

Although he intended to dress up as The Velveteen Rabbit, from his favourite childhood book, it didn’t quite go to plan.

Storming in with his usual Chandler swagger, he explains he is grateful for the get up, but she completely missed the mark.

Monica tells him: “It was either a pink bunny, or no bunny at all.”

Chandler then quips: “No bunny at all. Always no bunny at all!”

He eventually warmed up to his pink ensemble after seeing Ross’ ‘Spud-nik’ costume, joking: “Wow, I don’t have the worst costume anymore!”

Matthew Perry gave viewers comedy gold while sporting the pink bunny costume in the episode.

Even though we should all have gotten used to this sensation a long time ago, every time an unlikely celebrity friendship comes to fruition thanks to Hollywood, we’re all left stunned.

Remember that selfie of Russell Crowe, Johnny Depp and Ed Sheeran sipping a pint together last month?

Well, a lot of people are still reeling from that – so God knows how they are going to cope when they find out which star of the iconic British TV series Skins is on nickname terms with Angelina Jolie.

That’s right – she’s known as ‘Angie’ to him these days, while she is shouting from the rooftops about how much of a ‘gift’ he is to humankind.

And I know what your thinking – but no, it’s not Sid.

Instead, it’s one of the many stars of the show who went on to take their career to Hollywood heights after they wrapped up the Bristol-based series, which made them household names in the UK.

Nicholas Hoult is constantly in a blockbuster, while Kaya Scodelario’s role in the hit Netflix series The Gentlemen is still being talked about all these months later.

Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel also made a name for himself across the pond, as did Jack O’Connell – which has somehow led to him striking up a friendship with Jolie.

Although they keep their companionship quite lowkey, the pair can’t stop complimenting one another whenever an interviewer brings up their unlikely alliance.

It all started when O’Connell got cast as the lead in the 2014 flick Unbroken, which Jolie directed.

In the biographical war drama, the 34-year-old stars as American World War II veteran and Olympic runner Louis Zamperini, who survives 47 days floating in the Pacific Ocean on a raft after his plane crashes.

He is then captured by the Japanese navy and sent to a series of prisoner of war camps, where he becomes the prime target for a particularly cruel prison commander.

While filming the hard-hitting movie in Australia from 2013, O’Connell ended up getting very chummy with the Mr and Mrs Smith star, and they became firm friends.

Speaking to E! about his experience of working with the legendary actress, he said: “She’s a very selfless individual. “That’s one trait I hope to inherit from her. She knows where my priorities are; she knows I have a good relationship with my mom and that’s very important to her.”

He said she was ‘very compassionate’ while directing Unbroken, adding: “She approaches everything like an equal and is thoughtful. She knows what it takes.”

O’Connell even joked that he would have even babysat Jolie’s infamous brood if she asked, before jokingly saying: “It probably would have been the last thing I would have done on that job.”

But don’t worry, this isn’t just a one-way thing – as Jolie thinks the absolute world of the actor too.

She described the Skins star as a ‘gift’ and said she knew he was the perfect man for the job in Unbroken after their first meeting.

“As soon as I met him, I knew he was Louis,” she said.

Jolie even presented him with a gong for the New Hollywood Award at the Hollywood Film Awards in 2014 for his work on the film, seeing him tell the crowd she was his ‘esteemed boss, a good friend, her ladyship.’

Sweetly, O’Connell thanked her for the ‘unconditional support and dedicated leadership’ she had given him while working on the project together.
