The actress has officially married her fashion designer wife, Ramona Agruma, for the second time, just three months after their extravagant wedding in Italy.
By November 2022, after only seven months of dating, they were engaged at Disneyland. Wilson shared the exciting news on Instagram with a series of photos taken in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.
“We said YES!” she wrote in the caption, thanking Tiffany & Co. for the “stunning ring” and expressing gratitude to Bob Iger and the Disneyland team for orchestrating the “magical surprise.”
A few months later, the couple welcomed their first child, Royce, through surrogacy.
Now, they’ve celebrated another milestone by making it official in Wilson’s native Australia!
The 44-year-old took to Instagram to share moments from the intimate ceremony in Sydney. The carousel of photos captured the couple celebrating with close family and friends by the harbor.
“My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney!” Wilson wrote. “It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come, which was very special to us to have her included and just felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of the year!”
In the images, Wilson was seen in a rose-colored off-the-shoulder ruffled dress, smiling alongside Agruma, who donned a cream and baby pink outfit. Additional photos showcased the couple enjoying a celebratory dinner at the Sydney Opera House with their loved ones following the ceremony.
The heartfelt post has garnered over 286,000 likes, with fans flooding the comments to congratulate the happy couple on their legal marriage.
Reflecting on her journey to finding love with Agruma, Wilson previously shared that her connection with the fashion designer was a surprise.
“I always was a bit of a girls’ girl and had deep friendships with women, but this was the first time that it was a romantic connection, and I was just shocked,” Wilson admitted. “And then I was like, ‘Oh, well, what if that was just part of my personality that I was repressing and wasn’t exploring?’ And maybe I should have 10 years earlier. My journey is what it is, but it’s just awesome now to be in a relationship.”
She explained that her relationship with Agruma “just happened,” despite previously identifying as straight.
“And I still don’t know 100 percent what category I would fit in,” she added, referring to her sexuality. “I don’t really know. I’m just in a great same-sex relationship now, and it’s awesome.”
