Toyota Tundra Saving Lives Today” in Paradise Fire Northern California 🔥🔥🔥
A man in Northern California used hisToyota Tundrato help save lives during the devastating Camp Fire. The man, Allyn Pierce, posted a photo of his charred white 2017 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro on Instagram. The damage to the truck happened after several trips through the fire zone.
First, he evacuated his family in the small Northern California town of Paradise. Next, he helped evacuate patients from a local hospital he works at. His post on Instagram read: “Here’s my Toyota USA commercial. This truck literally saved my life today. My little town of Paradise was literally burning down around me and the_pandra got me to safety where I could help others…twice.” “The Pandra” happens to be the name of his truck.
That post was shared across the nation and caught the attention of Toyota USA. They responded on Instagram basically saying they will replace his truck.
A few manufacturers have also stepped up saying they will donate parts for a new build.
For Pierce, this show of support has been bittersweet. He lost his house to the fire and the hospital he worked at also burned down. There is not much left in the town of Paradise. Over 6,000 homes and 260 commercial buildings burned down in the Camp Fire. The death toll currently stands at 43. Pierce is looked at as a hero for saving lives in a critical moment at the hospital. He and his family are safe, as are the patients he shuttled out of the fire zone with his Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
