News regarding the Philadelphia Eagles’ decision as it pertains to the visit extended by the White House has triggered a conversation on social media
e Eagles have the option of visiting the official residence of the President of the United States following their Super Bowl win earlier this month. They rejected the offer when they won the Lombardi in 2018, and one of their captains revealed that this year’s decision would be the result of a team vote.
The Sun has since cited a “well-placed insider” who has revealed that most of the players voted against going.

The Eagles declined the invitation the last time around because of Donald Trump’s criticism of NFL players who knelt during the national anthem.
It is worth noting that they haven’t confirmed the above, but it does appear that folks do not expect them to grace the White House with their presence this time around, either.
