Woman Strikes Gold After Getting Bill Gates As Her Secret Santa
A woman struck the secret Santa jackpot after none other than billionaire Bill Gates pulled her name out a hat.
Secret Santa comes around every year – love it or hate it. If you’ve been living in a cave, ‘Secret Santa’ is the practice of putting everyones name on a list and each person pulls a name, to buy one gift for that person. Used in many offices and workplaces around the world – it means each person receives a gift from a mystery person. A little festive fun.
Usually, a secret santa gift is nothing life changing. A nice bottle of wine or a pair of slippers…
However, one woman got incredibly lucky.
A subreddit called r/secretsanta was started in 2009 and remained active until 2022 – where millions of people took part in exchanging international gifts from complete strangers.
